All construction in and around the ditch
must be approved by the Board of Directors.
Unauthorized changes to the ditch and easement may result in legal action by company.
Please take precautions when driving large equipment and trucks, such as: dump trucks, concrete mixers, large rollover trash containers, etc. over driveway culverts without taking appropriate precautions. Placing heavy-duty steel plates over driveway culverts is one method to insure the culverts beneath driveways are properly protected.
Ultimately, the property owner or the construction company will be responsible for repairing or replacing damaged driveway culverts; as well as being responsible for any interruption of irrigation water. If it is necessary to divert flowing water for a construction project, please contact the company.
Consent is also required to place concrete, or other permanent-type material over existing ditch or junction boxes, other than previously approved driveway culverts.
