Construction

  • All construction in and around the ditch
must be approved by the Board of Directors.
Unauthorized changes to the ditch and easement may result in legal action by company.
  • Please take precautions when driving large equipment and trucks, such as: dump trucks, concrete mixers, large rollover trash containers, etc. over driveway culverts without taking appropriate precautions. Placing heavy-duty steel plates over driveway culverts is one method to insure the culverts beneath driveways are properly protected.
  • Ultimately, the property owner or the construction company will be responsible for repairing or replacing damaged driveway culverts; as well as being responsible for any interruption of irrigation water. If it is necessary to divert flowing water for a construction project, please contact the company.
  • Consent is also required to place concrete, or other permanent-type material over existing ditch or junction boxes, other than previously approved driveway culverts.

Taking Water

  • Divert water according to the Lateral Schedule
  • Return water to the Lateral at the end of your scheduled time
  • Non-shareholders are not entitled to water under any circumstances
  • Water rights transfers must be on the same lateral.
  • Shareholders may use only a pro rata or portion of free water
  • Gates should be placed in fences across ditch easements
